Hastings and Rye MP Michael Foster joined local residents at the weekend for a community day event in St Andrews Square.

The day of family fun had been organised by St Andrews Residents’ Association Chair Jane Wright. The well attended event offered a chance for neighbours to come along and meet for the first time or catch up with old friends. Michael Foster was given the honour of presenting the award for ‘Best Junior Sunflower Grower’ which was won by young local Daniel Littlewood.

Michael Foster MP said:

“It was fantastic to come along today and join in the fun. Jane and everyone else who helped has done an outstanding job. I hope everyone enjoyed it as much as I did and that we get the chance to come back next year.”
